P3D Screw types

Hello all,

Can anybody tell me what kind of screws are used in the Realist ?
Especially the wind/rewind knob but also the top and bottom plate
and the lens board. They certainly are NOT metric. I've tried
several from my 'screw-box' and some will go in for a couple of
turns (about 2-3 mm) while there is 'room' for about 9 mm. I don't
really want to use any (brute) force to see if I can do a couple more
turns.
What kind of thread is used ? The speed ? Is that what you call it ?
The distance between two successive windings ? I've no tools to
measure it myself and my local hardware shop doesn't (want to) know
what I mean. Or are they looking that funny for some other reason ?
I'm not interested in replacement parts which you can easily obtain
from a 'dead' Realist body.

Thanks in advance for any help or clue !

Peter
