P3D RE: P3D Animated cartoons in 3D?

They may have done this for the backgrounds and foregrounds, but the
impression I got from Chuck Jones book is that the character animation was
done in perspective (at least in some scenes). I have never actually seen
this film in 3D though so it's hard to say.
