P3D marketing 3-D

I was pondering. If a company like Olympus were to mass-produce a stereo
camera in the style of a Stylus (only longer with 2 lenses), I would
imagine they could sell them for around $400-500. How many would they
need to sell to realise a profit? Now wouldn't that make for a great
marketing campaign. Sleak little viewers... But wait. Then Kodak would
have to offer reliable and fast processing and mounting. But wait. Maybe
Fuji could put out a little camera and offer 335 film with processing.
Maybe a little disposable which you drop off, and 2 days later you pick
up your mounted slides. But wait. Maybe I'm dreaming. :~)
