I have not replaced the lenses on an F40 myself, however there are several
Cameras in Australia where this was done in the 1980s. The camera has behind
the lens shutters which should make the task a lot easier than with (say)
the Iloca Rapid, which has between the lens shutters. I understand that the
lenses used were salvaged from cameras such as the Olympus Trip, or similar.
