Hi all,

I read somewhere that the latest ViewMaster viewer with the 50% larger
magnification has 22mm plastic lenses. If this is so, has anyone attempted
to replace its' cheapo plastic lenses with those from a Realist-format
viewer that has 22mm diameter glass doublet lenses?  If not, can anyone
offer any thoughts on doing this?  I know doing so would be like putting a
Nascar engine into an old rusted VW bug, but if we could get large
magnification and clear vision for VM slides, it would be nice.
