I've said it before but I'll say it again.  Fed is already producing a camera 
so it would presumably be not too great a stretch for them to design a fully 
manual version.  This would eliminate all my objections to the Fed other than 
those involving quality control.  I'd probably buy 3 of them.  Wouldn't many 
of you?  Isn't a brand new 7P stereo camera at reasonable cost the answer to 
many of our needs?  Why aren't we shouting at them to do this!
