Do you think digital cameras might be able to push stereo photography into
the mainstream? Storing a stereo digital image needn't be much more
memory-consuming than storing a single image thanks to compression routines
which exploit the redundancy between the pair. And the image quality of a
decent digital camera is pretty good these days.
Would people want to print the images from their computer, or view through
glasses? Or perhaps these new stereo LCD screens that are on the way... if
they take off of course?
