Hello,

I used the Sputnik I got from Paul Talbot at Rocky
Mountain Memmories www.rmm3d.com with a flash, and
also with professional strobes.  Both worked great! 
Just make sure that your flash can use a standard PC
cord, or get a PC to Hotshoe adapter, and then you
could use any flash.
