The only "device" in a corner mini-lab that cuts negatives is the 
after-school teenager not paying attention. Automatic negative cutters are 
only used in the huge labs that drug/grocery stores send their overnite 
processing to.

Find a good "independent" mom & pop minilab, make friends with the owner and 
they CAN make your prints!

Also, try taking your "special needs" film to the lab late in the week. Most 
photofinishing outlets are swamped on Mondays developing film shot over the 
weekend and may not take the time to go that extra mile.
