I'm sure some of you are aware of this, but in case there are some on this list who are not, I thought I'd pass along the sad news.

On November 7th, John Baird passed away after a long battle with cancer. If you've read his posts, you know what an enthusiastic,and giving person he was. He loved photography - and 3D in particular. His passing is truly a loss to the 3D and photographic communities.

John and I co-chaired the Kansas City Metro Photograper's Assn. for 12 years. Personally, I feel the loss of a close friend.

If we all keep John's enthusiasm, zest for life, and willingness to share knowledge in mind, he'll always be with us!
