P3D Saratoga County Historical Society

Just a brief note to let anyone living in the vicinity of the Capital
District (Albany area)of New York State know that stereoscopy will be focus
of featured speaker (me) at the annual meeting of the Saratoga County
Historical Society in Ballston Spa on Tuesday, November 16th.  The
announcement of the meeting is carried on their web site.

Just trying to get the word out to promote stereoscopic activities.

A bit (150 miles)to the south of Saratoga County, on the campus of Orange
County Community College, two 3d events are listed on the calendar of this
semester.  http://orange.cc.ny.us/eventscalendar.html  The presentation of
VRex video was made by David Harrison on October 19th.  He found a very
appreciative, albeit small audience. Yet to come is a month long exhibit
"Science as Art/ Art as Science" opening on Monday, November 15th.  This
will contain an exhibit of 3d photos and viewers, along with some membership
information for joining the NSA, the New York Stereoscopic Society, Stereo
Friday Dinners, and photo-3d. There will also be an invitation to form a
local group for purposes of bringing 3d programs to eastern New York State
(above the center of activity that we already have in New York City.
