I always use Realist Masks for mounting, after sorting  using the sorting box.
Incidentally, I am not sure why more people do not sort with the Realist Box. It
really is faster and very logical to do it this way. I really do not use gloves.
Any images I do not want to save get tossed. The really nice ones get mounted in
glass and tape. As for cheating, I never felt the need. If you use a jig,
sorting box and Realist mounts, it is faster to just mount all the pairs and
sort through it later. It takes about 30 minutes per roll if I am being really
careful.
