Sorry, I wouldn't know anything about staying clean or organized. I've been
having to do a lot of business travel lately, and I've started
including in my carry on luggage a cardboard box containing processed rolls
of film, that cute little polaroid film cutter, some generic scotch tape, a
little light box and some fold-over cardboard mounts and a folding viewer
for previewing my work. I see it as a challenge to make it all
easily transportable. I also carry a Themelized Red-Button to see how
the slides actually come out, or to have handy if anyone ever asks me what
in blazes I'm doing (no one has yet). Now I actually relish delayed
flights, as I get a chance to catch up on mounting. I can fit everything I
need on the fold down tray tables on the plane and continue working. This
is the only way I've gotten any slides mounted in the past few months, but
thanks to lots of delayed flights, I'm almost caught up. Luckily, no one
has yet determined that mounting slides interferes with the navigation
systems of planes (I used to listen to CDs on planes in the good old
days...)
