P3D Tolerances X4

I was amazed that my first few rolls through the X4 were aligned
precisely in RBT mounts with no vertical corrections required. I
couldn't believe it!! Lately this precision has started to drift and I
had to drop the L image down .1-.2mm to achieve the same precision
alignment. I started to question why this was happening? Was the camera
tilted etc. I noticed that the camera's cosmetic housing, primarily the
bottom plate, seems to flex slightly while tightening the tripod screw
down. I can't recall but I believe the hand-held shots do not exhibit
this problem. Has anyone elses X4 settled over time, displaying "
foundation settlement" symptoms like this? I'd be curious to take the
housing apart and see how the cameras are joined. Maybe there's an
expansion joint under there for us north-eastern X4 owners? :-)

Oh...."first"......thought I'd throw that word in as not to break the
streak. :-)
