Beanie babies are not worth squat (imho). It's just that they sell for
too much. It's all part of brilliant marketing and collectors worked
into a frenzy. Hurry and buy before they retire their current line after
12/31/99. Be sure to encase that big tag in a plastic protector.
Of course it's nice for stereo collectors that those millions of Beanie
collectors aren't sinking all their money into cards, cameras etc.
Otherwise a common Realist 3.5 would be selling for $500+,  a Custom for
$5,000 and Macros would be locked away in safe deposit boxes. The upside
would be that RBT's would be selling for $1,500 and have many
competitors. Plus you could walk into any camera store and get next day
stereo mounting in any format. :-)
