Of course you have to share your happy accident, hopefully on the Gamma
folio so I can see it.  You apparently did everything right, viz choice of
subject, composition, apperture, speed, focus and the micromoment of shutter
firing. Once out of your hands the photogods decided to offer one more
little improvement. Which of us hasn't benefitted from fate on many of our
best shots? That cloud that popped in front of half the sun at the last
moment to better the chosen f-stop? The sleeping cat that opened it's ironic
knowing eye at the sound of the shutter button descending? The little bit of
shrubbery we didn't notice two feet in front of the lens that forced a
creative masking solution? Give it up Bruce, share it with the world. Maybe
we'll all start requesting C41 for our Velvia.
