I bought a Viewmaster viewer at a photo fair recently that was custom modified
to run on White LED's - Only cost me $25.00 - Its one of the new viewmaster
viewers that costs about $5.00 retail. - It runs on 3 pen light cells-
Works great - Only problem is that it is difficult to get to the batteries.
The case must be carefully pried open. The White LED's do not point directly
at the Viewmaster reel - Instead they point up, which defuses the light.
The illumation still bright and very white.
