P3D 35mm viewer eyepiece

Hello,

I have been scouting for some parts for a homemade 35mm stereo slide
viewer. I found some surplus 35mm lenses with a 60 degree field of view
for about $25. That would cover a 40mm diagonal. Also some with a 68
degree field of view for $40. That would cover a 47mm diagonal. Details
are below. Any comments?
