P3D dial m

Having seen it both ways (as well as flat) the original dual-strip
version is IMO far superior to the side-by-side anaglyph. The image is
bigger, brighter and clearer. Anyone wishing to see the 50s 3-D movies
in their full glory should try to see them in dual-strip. Of course,
they'll still be missing the original stereophonic magnetic soundtracks.
All we can hope for is that the studios/producers will start (again)
making quality 3-D films.

BTW I've never heard that Hitchcock was blind in one eye. In a recent
interview, Hitchcock's daughter didn't mention that when talking about
Dial M. Are you thinking of the director of "House of Wax," Andre de
Toth, who was well-known as having only one functioning eye?
