It simply means that the rangefinder is out of alingment. This
does not affect focusing. Use the focusing dial to focus as
usual.
Rangefinders use mirrors and they can be knocked out of
alignment rather easily. I know how to fix this in a Realist
camera (explained also in good detail in my Realist book) but
not the Revere. Jess Powell is known to repair Reveres. He
also has a book and a video on this camera.
I now carry Jess Powell's 4 stereo camera books (Realist, Kodak,
Revere/Wollensak, Busch Verascope) and 12 (!) stereo camera
repair videos. More details will follow in sell-3d.
