I shot with a Tower Stereo camera for quite some time- it's quite a
rugged and dependable camera.  I have a shutter speed tester and found
that ALL speeds were right on.  The strange thing is that the viewer is
below the two taking lenses instead of above, so it looks like the
camera is stuck to your forehead when you're taking pictures!  After
hundreds of rolls of film, the shutter on mine finally jammed- so I put
it up for bid on ebay.  Like many other folks, I just have too many
stereo cameras, and no ability to tear into one and fix it.  Of all the
50's style Realist-style cameras I've owned, the Tower has lasted the
longest without breaking down.

If you find one in working order (or can repair a non-working unit),
it's worth the effort.  The only camera I have that I like better is the
TDC Stereo Vivid, but the darn thing has some crazy connector for the
flash that doesn't fit any type of sync cable I've ever seen, I hope to
find something someday that will let me connect my pc sync cable to it!
