P3D TDC Colorist I repair

Just received a second Colorist and the advance knob is not working properly. 
 The knob turns freely when the back is open, but after film has been put in 
and the back closed, though the knob turns, the film does not advance.  It's 
like a car in neutral gear.  Its as if the knob is not engaged or it lacks 
the torque to pull the film along.  Any suggestions who could repair it and 
how much (approximately) it would cost?
