Hi Greg!

I must confess: it makes little difference, but the difference is NOT
NIL. I quote a reaction from an other P3D member:

I have looked at it from the inside once or twice but always found it
really
didn't seem to actually do much. your comments got my curiosity up so I
pulled the top off one of my Reveres to do a thorough study. The
construction of it is quite simple. It is a shaft with an off center
hole
drilled in it which after examination you can actually see just by
looking
at the outside viewing hole. When it is in the 10 feet to Inf it is in
the
low position, when it is in the 3-10 feet it is in the Hi position.
I put the camera on a tripod and aimed it at a target where I could see
if
it changed the view. At least on my camera I really tried to see a
difference but could not see much change in actual view, though
mechanically
I am now assured that the engineers meant well. :>) I can almost talk
myself
into it.

Thanks for your reaction.

Best wishes,

Klaas
