P3D Stereo Kaleidoscope

How do you make a stereo kaleidoscope I have tried to do this myself for
both visual use and to photograph the results. Also a stereo teleidoscope
which would enable you to view a stereo kaleidoscopic view of anything you
look at with it and perhaps photograph it. I have the book "Kaleidoscope
Renaissance" which illustrates one example which actualy has two barrels
like a stereoscope and refers to and illustrates some others which are
supposed to give a "3D" image .
An interesting point is that Brewster who did a lot of work on stereo
following Wheatstone is credited with the invention of the kaleidoscope and
he discovered the effect ( I have also read somewhere that he merely
rediscovered and patented it)While he was conducting his experiments on the
polarisation of light by reflecting surfaces. P.J.Homer
