P3D Stitz attachment

A few weeks ago there was discussion about using a 50mm lens with a
Stitz beamspitter attachment. I'll quote from the manual.

"If your SLR camera's lens focal length is less than 55mm or acceptance
angle a bit to wide, it is quite recommendable to use this stereo
adaptor together with an ordinary 1.5x or 2x conversion lens which can
be obtained at any camera shop. Any kind of picture looks better in
Stereo- PORTRAITS, LANDSCAPES, SPORT EVENTS, ARCHITECTURE or SCULPTURE,
NUDES, and SCIENTIFIC or EDUCATIONAL RECORDS- everything looks better in
3-D."

Makes sense to me.
