> Engineers at Manhattan-based Dimensional Media Associates (DMA)

"TOKYO, July 24, 1997 -- SANYO Electric Co., Ltd., maker of the world's
first commercially available non-glasses 3D displays... SANYO plans to show
the new display at the upcoming "Electronics Show '97", to be held at the
Makuhari Messe in Chiba from October 6 to October 10."
I found half a dozen such ads from different hardware producers, but never
saw a working device. As far as I know, the only goggle-free displays
already available are from http://www.dti3d.com/ ; the ads say they are also
affordable ($8,000-$15,000) & I wander what "expensive" would mean... did
anybody in the list see the results?
