Having used an Argus once, I can tell you that there are two main weaknesses
to this design.

1) The flash is weak. An indoor shot of my daughter at a distance of 4 feet,
at mid-day in a room with two LARGE widowns, and plenty of sunlight look
like she was illuminated by a flash in a almost totally dark (midnight like)
room. The flash has a very small coverage area.

2) If there is ANYTHING that can reflect sunlight (people, trees, cards,
etc, etc, etc, etc to your right or left, a "ghost of that image will be
layered over one or both of the halves of your final print. I would be happy
to try to dig out a few I have at home and scan them in if you are
interested.

All in all, it's a nice camera, and interesting viewer, and at $50.00, maybe
it is finally down to the price it should have started at. (IMHO) There are
answers to the two problems mentioned above:

1) shoot mainly outdoors

AND

2) tape a flat black painted cardboard septum to the front of the camera to
eliminate as much of the reflective ghosting as possible.

For what it's worth,

Dan Shelley
