P3D Animation Master 2000 for stereoscopic rendering

Whoa, I'm so glad P3D is back. There is so much to talk
about. One of the things that I'm excited about is the
new version of Hash's Animation:Master. A:M is a very
powerful animation program for Mac & PCs. What is
really great is that the new version will directly
render stereo images, in anaglyph, side-by-side, or
interlaced formats. You can set the camera separation
and the stereo window (they call it "frame distance").
I bought A:M99 back in October and have been
struggling with getting the camera settings right for
stereo pairs. Now it is automatic!

It is easy (relatively speaking ;-) ) to create stereoscopic
animations. You can also make stereo stills, and the
render engine is quite good (maybe not as good as
POV-Ray, but close). The modeling environment is
spline patch based, which is better than polygon based,
IMHO.

Another great feature- price. A:M 2000 is only $299,
with an academic discount it is $199.

I hate to sound like an advertisement, but I'm really
stoked about this program. One downside, the version
shipped has bugs- you need to go to their web site to
download updates.
