P3D 3d fad

While sitting at home the last 4 days trying to get over a cold and
watching a lot of television, it occurred to me that (at least on
the stuff I watch), the big "3D!!!" marketing fad seems to have
passed. I'm not seeing 3D toothbrushes or 3D potato chips too much
any more (or at least ads for them). These are national level
satellite feeds, so some local stuff may still be around. 

If it really is fading, I'm not sorry to see it go. It lasted
a bit longer than the "dolly motion" fad (although that still seems
to be hanging around a little bit in commercials that grossly
change speed, like fast forwarding a VCR on search). I still have
the original GAP commercial on tape. If I ever get a chance, I'll
have to try extracing some frames from it and see what it looks like...
