I was actually disappointed in this mod. The image is no where near as large
as you get with the plastic lens (which I assumed it would be) or with the
Model D viewer. It is larger than the Model L however. The spacing of the
lenses is still a problem for me too, but that would take some major viewer
surgery to correct.

About two months ago got my Virtual VM viewer replaced with achromats, this
change for the better quality lenses made a huge difference when looking at
both commercial or personal reels. Somehow, I am not using the model D that
much anymore. This would also be the viewer I would take around when showing
my pics at work, friends, etc. and leave home the more expensive (and
heavier!) bakelite model D for private (and safer!) viewing.
Check Berezin's web page for the alternatives to replace plastic lenses, for
