I tried sending a private response to
Greg Lock but it keeps bouncing. Maybe
he still gets P3D.

I thought the stereoscopic photo of your daugthers was terrific. The scale of the subject and choice of lens worked beautifully. However I don't think any of the other examples on your web-site were anywhere near as good.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the comments.

A lot of my MF slides the beauty
is in the detail which recreates the
scene when viewing the original in
my viewer. On a web page the detail
is lost so they look ordinary or
worse.

For example my Finale fireworks
slide is nothing special on my web
page, but several people (experienced
stereophotographers), who have seen
the original, have called it the best
stereo fireworks slide they've EVER
seen. So the original is much better
than a 400 or 800 pixel wide jpeg.

The Emily and Beth photo works well
on the web because it has some large
interesting subjects close to the camera.
I turned out very well, I was happy to
find, even though I had Velvia film in
the camera, which usually isn't recommended
for people shots.

Regards - Greg
