P3D Re: Toy Story2

Anyone who is interested in this might want to see if they
can get their TV set away from the kids long enough to 
watch REBOOT on the Cartoon Network. As best as I can tell
it's pretty much completely done via fully rendered 3D
models (Mainframe productions in Canada). 

I was really astounded that they could produce that much CG
animation on a weekly basis (although I did hear they had
problems keeping up). It's also fairly funny for the eastereggs
that you keep running across in the graphics and story lines.

They fairly shamelessly (but humorously) ripped off a variety
of "real" movie and TV shows, such as the Max Max movies :-)

One of the main characters, for example, is named "Phong" and
is depicted as an elderly Asian fellow :-) (a rather inside
joke for CG animators).

I also liked the Muppets when they had a character named
"Traveling Matt"...
