The Stanford Theater in Palo Alto, California will be holding
a 3-D film Festival starting on April 28th. The first film
to be shown will be Dial M for Murder on April 28th, 29th and
30th. The schedule for the rest of the film festival has not
       been announced.

The Stanford Theater was built in the 1920s. Its a large
theater - Including the balcony, I believe it holds over 1000
people. The theater was restored by the Packard Foundation
a few years ago and it specializes in showing classic films
from the 30's, 40's and 50's. Before most shows there is a
short presentation of live music on the theater's pipe organ.

The theater is scheduled to close between April 24th and 27th
so that it can be prepared for the 3D festival (Currently, the
theater does not have a silver screen). - Between February 4th
and April 23rd, they will be showing other movies by Alfred
Hitchcock. I'm excited about this. I expect David Packard
(Jr.), who is actively involved in the theater's operation,
will do his best to make sure the films are presented
       properly.
