P3D CIVIL WAR RE-ENACTMENT IN FLORIDA

Just wanted to mention that I went to an incredible spectacle yesterday
near Mt. Dora, FL where several hundred soldiers from the Union and
Confederate armies re-enacted a typical battle from the Civil
War...complete with Cavalry and cannons...WOW! I captured a lot of it on
my two Realists loaded with Kodachrome 64 and got a few strange looks.
What kind of camera is that?  Lots of action, gunfire, cannon fire and
plenty of smoke! Should have some great 3D material in the can.

These guys take this all very seriously and even have a large camp in
which they and their wives stay overnight in..set up with period tents
and everything is the way it must have been way back when. It was as
close to a time machine as I've ever experienced. 

They're doing another battle today with a different victor
expected...yesterday the Union Army won...I'm going back with another 6
rolls of Kodachrome...I may even sell some of my images on eBay once I
get them mounted and edited..
