P3D OSPS Meeting Review... The Approach

Many of my meeting reviews seem to include at least one comment about
the drive to or from Cleveland. Perhaps this is because many of lifes
mysteries are solved for me during these long trips. We hit a snow
squals that were moving east ( we were moving west) and I was imagining
myself on the bridge of the Starship Enterprise as the snowflakes
appeared like planets zipping by at warp speed in the dark cold, nobody
around, only our headlights to guide the way. To my amazement Karen said
exactly what I was thinking........and at that moment it dawned on
me.....the answers to space travel! Forget the speed of light....a
spaceship can only go so fast....cause I'm telling you, you're gonna run
right into a planet or a star going that fast! " I certainly hope I
learn this much at the meeting tonight" I thought. Jim Kunkel is
presenting a "Composition" workshop and the " Serenity" competition was
to follow. Somehow we still managed to arrive on time....come to think
of it, I can't account for an hour of driving time...that's weird. :-0
