P3D Is it healthy?

I want to show (publish in photo magazine) some 3D pictures in cross-eye
format.
I was asked if it is healty to cross eyes regulary or for long time. Does
anybody knows something about it? Maybe medical investigations were done?
And what about parallel viewing ?
