Ken Wrote: "those whose style deviated from the "norm" -- artists who
were inventive: intuitive. The rest of the artists learn from them."

Anyone can learn to be intuitive. Great photos, however, come from
technical skill, intuition, and opportunity. Opportunity is rarely
found in one's own living room and great images have to be sought. It
is not enough to be in a great place and wait for the light. One must
go to where light is and where the subjects are. Sometimes a subject
must be shot a few times before one knows what works for snow,
fireworks, night shots, hypers, macros, interiors, aquariums, or other
demanding situations. While it is fine to learn some techniques from
others, viewing your own trials can be very informative.
