P3D Re: permanent visual tint from extensive anaglyph use

There has recently been discussion of people noticing a permanent
color shift in their vision after years of extensive use of anaglyph
glasses.
Now that use of the Pulfrich effect for stereo has become popular,
some people who have extensively used Pulfrich glasses are reporting
a comparable temporal shift when they are not wearing Pulfrich glasses -
the eye that had been covered by the dark lens (and thus the delayed
image) now overcompensates, and sees slightly into the future.
:-)
(Actually, there are some potentially serious health issues
associated with the use of 3D - one of the speakers at the SPIE
conference reported on the inappropriate use of vision-correcting
optics contributing to the permanent development of myopia in
children, and noted that there could be related risks from
inappropriate use of certain types of 3D systems. I will try to
post a brief summary of the conference soon.)
