I agree with Paul that RBT or glass mount slides are the best way to 
go for salons. However, I have another technique that I will be 
demonstrating at NSA Y2K that places a Spicer mounted image in 
an EMDE binder with one piece of glass. This allows you to mount 
ALL your images exactly the same and then simply slip your 
exhibition entries in the frame.

This technique has worked well enough for me to have enough 
acceptances for my first PSA Star and two medals. Don't think that 
you have to use several different mounts or learn several different 
mounting techniques to be able to submit prize winning images to 
exhibitions.

One mount - one method!
