Yes, you can use your stereo camera on a slide bar to do hypers.
One of my most favorite (and successful) images is a hyper of Mt.
Rainier taken from a commercial airliner with an RBT. I have seen
several images taken this way with Realist, Kodak, and other
stereo cameras in the SSA folios as well.
You end up with two identical pairs, just use both left images for one
and both right images for the other. There is no difference in the
height. Depending on what is in your foreground you may need to
use a closeup mount to mask off the edges.
