P3D Re: TDC Vivid Quirks

Paul T has mentioned his surprise/dismay at frame overlap in the TDC Vivid
camera he once owned.
I have to admit that, while I see more overlap in my Vivid strips that in
the Realist, it is not always the same amount of overlap, and I haven't
noticed feeling constrained in mounting - in fact I don't ever recall not
being able to get a clear image in the mount apertures with at least a bit
of room to wiggle. Of course my attention has been on that infernal
internal reflection bugaboo he also mentioned.
BTW, it was actually a slide from the Gamma circuit where I first saw the
reflection problem in someone else's Vivid - it had passed through the
entire circuit without notice or comment! But I was alert and elated to
discover that I wasn't alone with the problem. I still use the Vivid, but
I try to avoid scenes where bright light is reflected *up* from the
ground, as that seems the situation where the problem usually occurs.
Still have not tried dulling the interior.
Lincoln, have you ever seen a light reflection in the lower center of the
left chip from your Vivid?
Bruce
