P3D Regarding SI Swimsuit Issue

Yesterday, checking nearby Grocery and Drug Stores, no Sport
Illustrated except one copy of an old issue. However, found that
both Book Stores in the closest mall had a goodly supply of the
Swimsuit issue. This morning I had a doctor's appointment and
guess what, a Swimsuit issue on the table in the clinic's waiting
room. The address label showed this was a subscription copy--nice
way to keep patients occupied while sitting and waiting! I later
stopped by one of the larger grocery stores and there were
Swimsuit issues on display near the checkouts.

The front cover has notes below the bar code strip showing WINTER
2000, Display until 5/24/00, and web address
"swimsuit.cnnsi.com". This is a Lexus Sweepstake to win a trip to
the beaches where the Models were photograph with a saying "Who
needs 3D when you can be there"

Mary Ann stated that they had furnished 3D info and Jon Golden
had furnished various RBT for the 3D photos. (Thanks Mary Ann for
this info). Another interesting tidbit, One of the Models (I
believe Daniela-the front cover girl) was on a talk show a couple
of days ago. I tuned in late hence only caught part of what was
said. There was a comment that there must have been a lot of
photos. The Model responded with a figure like 10760. Did anyone
else hear this and was that the number? Guess the photographers
took lots of shots to get the right Exposures, or should I say
"Overexposures" :-). And Dr-T thought he took a lot of shots of
the Models at PSA Toronto.
