P3D Bad Headaches

I don't know Boris.....to expect each eye to independently correct for
density ( pulfrich) or white balance/color balance ( anaglyph) I would
imagine alot of folks.....open minded reasonable people who embraced the
concept of stereo effects, and have no other motivation to turn
critic.....would not unless the experience adversely affected them. I
watched entire football games with Pulfrich glasses....I enjoy the
effect but I was adversely affected. I experience the same symptoms
viewing anaglyph also. I have experienced occasional eyestrain,
headaches, difficulty with reading, ghosting, flickering ( after
removing the glasses) and not to mention a very very subtle frustration
due to the visual compromises the methods pose from the onset. But I
would not give up this source of a " headache" any faster than I would
give up a cold beer. Perhaps the statement made in SI was alittle off
base....but maybe not. Let the audience decide. I think the SI issue is
very well done and stereo's best foot is forward IMO. I assure you
someone somewhere is getting headaches from these girls.....probably
their boyfriends.:-)
