Ray,

If you've got a PowerMac you can use my Stereogler program 
(http://vision-lab.psy.ohio-state.edu/crowell/software.html).  No 
brightness adjustments or anything (though it does allow you to 
easily adjust vertical alignment & window placement), but it will 
open a stereo pair (either in separate files or JPS layout) and 
display & save it as an anaglyph (and it's free).
