Thank you Bill Walton for the kind words you say about me and the book I
did for SSA members. I enjoyed doing that and I hope that both participants
and others find it useful. The stereo community has enriched my life, and I
see the work I did as a small contribution, as giving back to this great
community of stereo enthusiasts.

"I don't know how many SSA members subscribe to this mailing list but I
believe that all who do will join in with me and give a resounding round
of applause for Shab Levy and the wonderful SSA Yearbook that he
produced.  I can see it now, on Ebay in 40-50 years, going for a fabulous
price.  And my copy will be worth a little more as it has the author's
autograph inside the front cover.

This is the 2d (at least) iteration of the SSA Yearbook.  The first one
was done in the early 1990s by Judy Proffitt and it covered only those of
us who work in the Classic Format (Stereo Cards)  A couple of years ago I
told Shab about the earlier effort and asked what he thought about an
update.  Since Shab is a multi-medium sort of guy he decided to include
stereo slide makers as well in the current book.  He wrote letter after
letter asking for participation, but many folks opted not to send him
their pictures, despite the cost of the book being $0.00.  Oh well, you
have some people who would complain if they were hung with a new rope.
