P3D OSPS Meeting Review ( Cleveland)

" I did not have sexual relations with that woman!"  along with this
quote " I am quitting OSPS stereo club!" ....were 2 of the biggest lies
ever communicated over electronic media. Shortly thereafter I retracted
my resignation but Dr T went ahead with the bulk mailing to notify the
Cleveland area that I had quit the club. The result was an evening of
record setting attendence!:-) Karen and I arrived 2 minutes late. To our
surprise the New Zealand slide show was already underway.....we took a
standing position against the back wall since all the seats were taken.
We could not recognize the folks sitting in "our chairs" ......a key
indicator that T's postcards were indeed received by "resident" as
mailed. Jim Motley and Chuck Weiss glanced back....I waved as Jim said
to Chuck " He looks familiar doesn't he?" Chuck shrugged his shoulders
and faced forward again.  Let the record stand corrected. We did not
really quit the club......it was an overwelming time for us....Karen is
starting a new job, my schedule was changing, time was a precious
commodity and there was no light at the end of the tunnel! A few days
later we were able to work things out......and remain members.
Technically, we owe a reinstatement fee and new membership dues to the
club.....but certainly they would not enforce this because after
all.....I am in charge of audio. How could they possibly get through
this program without my assistance? More to
