P3D OSPS Meeting Part 3

Dr T ran the projector ( TDC 116) during the club programs. Did you know
that the New Zealand sheep population is 5 times greater than human
population? I haven't heard numbers like that since the Clinton
election. :-) The New Zealand program revealed more window violations
than a school bus full of kids flipping the finger to a McDonald's
drive-thru cashier. More window errors than the new teller at my local
National City bank who cannot calculate correct change after the loose
pennies are thrown his way, having to hit " clear" on the calculator and
start over because the stupid customer cannot make up his mind to "
round-up" BEFORE he begins the transaction! :-) As things often come
full-circle...so does my hack analogy......needless to say, alot of the
slides needed remounted. T had a difficult night with projector
compliance.....handling the carrier like a garlic press.....jamming
slides through the carrier forming a big pile on the other side. I think
he may have used a " battering ram" all steel slide to force the images
through the carrier. I suggested a drain auger be used to clean out the
cardboard dust and residue after the show, then use a wisk broom to
sweep the images back into the storage box.
After the break...........Harold Kaiman and Peter Smakula are up
next..........Isreal show from Harold....and Motorcycle racing from
Peter! Can't wait! More......................Mark Dottle
