Well, the *-3D mailinglists are just some of my personal favorites.
The other lists, Infrared and Panorama, had no archives and that
was the main reason to make one available. While doing this, I just
threw *-3d in 'for free' (maybe a little forced by not being satisfied
with the browsing, searching, and referencing features of the primary
Calcite archive).
It was - and still is - my hope that this archive will provide some
value to the community, i.e. the list itself but also other interested
parties, as there is a lot of valueable information and knowledge in
there, waiting to be shared.
However, if the list members have considerable concerns regarding
privacy issues than it's probably best to take the archive off the
Web.
