XR-10Ms when using long exposure times. I bought an electronic remote
shutter release (about $24 from B&H) and wired it to the two remote plugs.
Problem solved. I've also noticed that the sturdiest tripod possible helps,
especially for long exposures on windy days. Jim Harp

I'd like to clarify that these cameras do not require a remote release button
the fire them simultaneously. Plug them together and when you fire one
camera from it's shutter release button, the other fires. I've had no
softness problems with this setup, although my style and subject matter lend
themselves to slow and contemplative composition, and much tripod use.
