I found the same thing was true with the Rebel X.  This means you can link the
cameras for about $3.  I another feature I liked about the Rebel was that the
f-stop and shutter speed are easily seen on the LCD on top of both cameras.  This
way you can use the automatic features and check before firing if the cameras are
reading the scene the same way.
